Charity Spotlight: National Marine Life Center

The entire team at Variant Ventures is passionate about supporting our community. We know that TTRPG, gaming, and entertainment fans come from different backgrounds and that sometimes a helping hand is needed. Today we wanted to put a spotlight on the non-profit organization: National Marine Life Center.

Marine animals make ideal teaching tools. Dolphins, whales, seals, and sea turtles are charismatic and interesting. The ocean depths in which they live are mysterious and exciting. By using marine animals as subject material, National Marine Life Center instructors address topics from biology to physics, writing composition to art, math to technology.

The National Marine Life Center (NMLC) is an independent, non-profit 501(c)(3) marine animal hospital and science and education center. We rehabilitate and release stranded marine mammals and sea turtles in order to advance science and education in marine wildlife health and conservation.
